WHO CAN BE SAVED?
We can't save anyone with words and Bible Studies alone, this only washes the outside of the cup but the inside remains unclean. We must simply bear the testimony of Christ in our earthen vessels and share the Gospel message that was delivered unto us with the anointing of the Spirit., which is Christ in us.
If the anointing of the Spirit of Christ (True Husbandman) is not upon the seed and the one delivering the message ( sowing the word ) the message may be compromised by lack of Repentance and Obedience to the Gospel of Christ.
This may create a door of opportunity for Satan to steal the seed, justify sin, and destroy the opportunity of true Repentance and kill the Salvation message through perversion of the Gospel message.
When Jesus Christ ministers to the Spiritual heart, which only he can touch and heal the unredeemed will both hear and see of a truth that they are lost and need to be reconciled to God through Obedience to the Gospel.
We must submit ourselves to the work that Christ has put before us to do, whether minister or saint. We must not think of ourselves to highly for we are all bought with a price. There is no good thing in any human being except Christ be in them. Without the power of Christ, our heritage means nothing, whether we be blessed in our generations as believers or an infidel there is no difference without Conversion through Jesus Christ.
Without the indwelling of the Spirit we will be lost, as the Bible reads physical exercise will profit us little if our souls be lost eternally through subjection to the Spirit of Lawlessness.
Christ seeks a vessel of his choosing, consecrated to his will and work. Our heritage as Paul, said means nothing for it isn't by our own righteousness but by that of Christ in us, that we walk uprightly. Paul said not as though he had already attained or were perfect, he was still a flesh and blood man like we. Paul said he was chief among sinners even being witness to the stoning death of Steven who being apprehended of Christ cried out, "Lord lay not this Charge of sin to these men." No man shall ever attain to this measure of Christ by Faith, Education or Works of his own!
We will only attain to that end, when we are apprehended by Christ and become a Living Testimony of Christ through Conversion, the Spirit of Christ that dwells within us. Paul said, "I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord."
If Christ does not reign in this Temple of which we are, The Temple of God. Then he is not our Lord either! Our master is those things we yield ourselves to, whether to Christ and Righteousness or to Satan and the Spirit of Lawlessness to Sin!
Paul said,
Phil 3: 4-14
4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
