The Refection of a Neglected Soul
When people drive by this building day to day and see this old Church in this condition in only about 6 years do they see Judgment or their faces reflecting back to them as a mirror of their souls? Or do they say my barns are full, my belly is full and my soul has need of nothing so I will take my rest?
This Church House once filled with the Word of God and the songs of the redeemed has become a reproach to the community now. I wonder how many associate this condition as the Judgment of God against those who take pleasure in unrighteousness, and think Glorifying God and Eternal judgment a small thing of no importance?
Many people will seek out the smooth tongued preachers on the payroll where they can take their rest in Sin without any condemnation from the pulpit. And if the fire of conviction gets to hot they just get a hard heart at the preacher, or set him down and find another hireling to take his place, that will tickle their ears, and tell them what makes them feel good. The preacher is just the messenger if you get offended by the Word or by the Message of the Gospel, you need to take that to the Great Sheppard, Jesus Christ. He is the Word made Flesh!
I believe if Christ were in his Flesh body here as he was before Calvary, and preached to us the way he preached to some of the Pharisee's, and Scribes (Lawyers) many would want to sue him, or jail him. Some would probably even wish death upon him.
These are not they who have humbled themselves as children under a Father when he rebukes or reproves them with love, but these reflect in their response the Lawless Spirit of the Man of Sin. This reflects the condition of a lost soul who from birth because of the curse of Sin, has been under the subjection of the Cain Spirit, the Spirit of Lawlessness, and this to is Anti-Christ and emanates from the father of Sin, Satan.
I believe God is just and merciful and no one will be lost without God using somebody, a minister, a saint, maybe even a fool if that's all that can be found available to reach out and try to persuade them to come into the will and Truth of God and partake of his plan for man!
Christ directs us to reach out and let the people know how much God loves them and bid them to turn into the strait gate and away from the path of unrighteousness. The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has purchased us with his own blood that he may bestow upon all that come unto him the precious Gift of eternal life, in the Kingdom of our God.
I pray also that those who failed to take heed or neglected the beckoning of the Savior through the Spirit and the Word of God find the Truth and the Gospel message still fresh in their mind and Christ still knocking on the door of their heart.
Friend do not refuse him today, the calling of God to come unto him and be a son or daughter to him may someday fall silent, your opportunity will have pasted, and there may be no more pleadings from God to come home. Friend do not miss your day of visitation with God today. The state of the world tells us that these are perilous times. You can't afford to wait till another time, none of us has the promise of tomorrow, or even another hour.
Friend don't take chances with your soul, be an example to those that you love that are lost and away from God. They may see the goodness of God in your life and they may be brought to hear the pleading of Christ also. God is pleading with the souls of man and his tender mercy is calling you. If you continue to refuse him someday you may need him more then ever before, and he may not be found, in your desperate hour of need there may be nobody to lift you up.
Perhaps you? A child who may have slipped in your relationship with the Father? God still loves you friend. Just pour out your heart to him and confess your sins and he is able to forgive you your trespasses, he is able to wash away the stains of sin, right now friend, there is nothing to big for your Father.
If the Spirit of God is urging you to pour out your heart today, obey him for yourself, and your family that God may unite you and your love ones in the Kingdom of God.
It's not hard to Repent especially if the Spirit of God is urging you to come to him, just confess your sins to Jesus and ask him, Christ has been waiting for you and he wants to make you whole again.
Just turn from your old Sin Life it's not to late to do the right thing, and let the spirit God lead you into the depths of the River of Life, and the Spirit will lift you from the death of Sin, and raise you to New Life in Christ, and you shall be called his child, and he shall be a Father unto you. Just ask Jesus to fill your cup with his holy Spirit and lead you into the path of Righteousness.
Just repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the holy ghost. Acts 2:38
