When we are converted we become a testimony of Christ, the Spirit of Christ will be in us.
Christ said, "These things that I do you shall do also, and greater things then these shall ye do".
How do we know if the Spirit of Christ is inside us? Let's look at the fruit that is manifest by our Living Testimony.
If Christ is not in us, our living testimony will not be one of a consecrated vessel full of the Righteousness of God, which is the gift of the Holy Ghost, but rather our testimony will be one that is overcome by sin, one who cannot bring there body into subjection, one who is ruled by the flesh and cannot resist sin and worldliness.
Therefore these are slaves to the Man of Sin under the Spirit of Lawlessness. Those in this condition are in rebellion against the perfect will of God. Such lawless people become equal in transgression and resist the law of righteousness just as Satan, The Beast, and The False Prophet though many are naive are also slaves to the Spirit of Lawlessness.
In other words, these are not born again, of the Water, the Blood and the Spirit of God, the three witnesses of Christ in the Earth. These three bear the witness of righteousness and obedience against the Children of disobedience, Lawlessness and Sin.
This was the condition of those in Moses day therefore God had to reveal his law because mans wickedness was going to bring him under God's Judgment thus the Law was a mirror so man could behold his own reflection and flee from Lawlessness and Sin.
1Ti.1:9
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
The children of Sin bear witness in themselves (THE ANTI-CHRIST SPIRIT of SIN and LAWLESSNESS) which emanates from the Father of Lawlessness, which is the old Serpent, that they are not the Children of God.
