Attention to the Importance of Commitments and Priorities
This section details the various scenarios that ministries should be aware of, that they may guard against these destructive possibilities, because when missions fail the ramifications and neglect for missions in the community create very heavy casualties. When the Church families, Pastors and Brethren neglect their responsibilities to maintain a place of worship, and forget their commitments of love and fail to support one another in the Lord, we can no longer maintain a creditable witness in any community we serve in.
Many times those that do not even know God or have the wonderful gift of God operating within them are a better witness of character, by helping out their neighbor or caring for a stranger or feeding the hungry or helping the widows and the fatherless, then those who claim to have the gift of God operating in their lives.
One doesn't have to be spiritually attuned to see that this type and representation of love from those and claim to have Gods gift inside them is really no gift from God at all!
It may be that the Gift which ye started with has now become a curse, because there is no difference between a person like this and he who is overcome by greed, self will or one filled with the lust for the world, for even a worldly person hath compassion.
This behavior, lack of charity and neglect of missions sends a negative signal to the skeptic and the sinner, it even creates doubt among a mans own church family and brethren about the integrity of the ministry and about the mission! The message is just as clear as the sirens on a fire engine that screams something is wrong here! DANGER! DANGER! GET OUT OF THE WAY! This could possibly cause the good that might be done in the community to be evil spoken of by the whisperers.
It is better not to make a vow to God at all then to make a vow to God and not keep it!
De.23:21
When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
The vow or promise that be broken is at the expense of souls for which Christ died to redeem them with his own Blood! The souls that may be lost to such a tragedy may be an entire community and their families. This conduct hardens the hearts and strengthens the doubts of those that are testing the waters who are unsure of the ministry or the message the ministry brings. The message may go much farther then an isolated community the family is spread far and wide across our country and the world. The failure of doing right here may effect people in many cities, states, even countries, Sin is like a wildfire that starts slow but then is out of control as the whisperers fan the flames of disappointment through gossip.
The lost, the down hearted and those in false doctrine must see the works of a people who truly believe the message that they preach! The message of the Gospel is of God and not of men! The true meat of the Gospel is not be usurped by the conduct of the ministry or brethren and relegated down to fodder through disappointment and the broken promises of men.
Those that are lost in the world are looking for something that is dignified and honest, not lies friend, the skeptics have gorged themselves on lies from the worldly crowd till they can hardly take a spiritual breath or believe what the preacher has to say anymore. God knows all of us can clearly see why the confidence in the Church is waning. The fact is some have forgotten the consequences of their dishonesty.
For who is the father of disappointment and lies? The Evil One who comes but to steal, to kill, and to destroy them!
I just want to say friends if a Christian brother or sister has lied to you, or hurt you in some way, I want you to know that God is hurt to. God doesn't condone lies and strife God said that if we be in Christ we will do the things of Christ because Christ is in us friend.
If you have been wronged, I'd like you to know if a brother or sister in the Lord has stumbled, that we all need to pray for one another because it isn't us that really gets hurt the worse, but it's the Name of our Savior that is defamed, when we assault or hurt each other we bring insult to Christ and his Name if we claim to have the Testimony of Christ operating in our lives!
If I have failed you personally or any of my brothers and sister has done wrong and defamed you or Christ anywhere in the world I ask you today and Christ also for his forgiveness and that God will bring the healing for all of us.
I pray that your faith would be established in Christ and that you would look to him for your answers and the peace that we all need from God.
God forbid that the hope of the unbeliever and those that need somebody to take them by the hand and lead them into the deeper waters of the spirit should point the finger at the ministry and find no difference between them that bring the Salvation Message and those out side of Grace who do cheat and lie!
We must not add to the disappointment and broken promises that have broadsided the lost and the wandering pilgrims for there is already no shortage of such things in the sinners world!
When the onlookers in the community begin to wonder about commitments that have been spoken across the pulpit and have not been kept, and the pews have been abandoned by the brethren and there is nobody to strengthen the hand of the man behind the pulpit. This provides an opportunity for evil to rear its ugly head and attack the pulpit and the man behind it.
This is a disgrace for those that do not fight the battle for lost souls. The Bible say that 2 are better then one!
Ecclesiastes 4:9,10
9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor.
10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falls; for he hath not another to help him up.
12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
The Battle for souls may be found in the balance? The battle may begin to go in Satan's favor and men that slumber may be found guilty by reason of idleness to be fighting for the wrong side, even against God, simply because they failed to rise to the occasion and come out on the battlefield, there's spiritual blood warfare flowing in the streets of our towns and cities and there's a spiritual fight going on now for the world, the community we live in and their families. If the battle be fought against the Gates of Hell by only one, if he tire in the battle, for lack of renewal, he may fall in the battle alone and the battle be lost!
Moses is a good example of how Brethren must prepare and fight the Spiritual battles together, to win and overcome the evil one.
Israel, won this battle only because Moses raised his hands to God and fought the Spiritual battle. These people were not yet prepared for war, they had been in captivity as slaves in Egypt they didn't know or have any training of how to prepare for a physical war. They came up against a fierce army whose weapons of warfare were all proven and stained with blood.
These things happened unto them as examples unto us. We must never think we will be smart enough, or that our flesh and blood talents and strengths will ever win the war God is preparing us to fight and win.
